Edmontosaurus- A duck-billed dinosaur
who lived in prehistoric marshes and plains. The maximum in a herd of these
dinosaurs are 5 males, 20 females, and the babies. When the males are grown
enough, they set out to make a herd for themselves. These dinosaurs have a top speed
of 35 mph, with a short thigh-bone and a long shin-bone. It means it is a fast
runner.
Triceratops- They are relatively slow moving
dinosaur with a speed of 10 mph, but they have a great defense. Armed with a spiked
frill and a trio of 7-foot-long horns that they use to stab their opponents, the
Triceratops are like walking dino-tanks. With their stout legs, Triceratops can
avoid an attach from their underbelly. Their herd consists of one male, ten
females, and the babies. When in danger, the dinosaurs form a tight circle
around their young to protect from Dromaeosaurs and T- Rex.
Tyrannosaurus Rex- They are an giant carnivore
from North America, a T- Rex’s mouth can crush anything. When feasting, it uses
it’s little arms to hold down the prey while its mouth tears huge chunks from the
dinosaurs underbelly. The common prey of these dinosaurs are Edmontosaurus, and
occasionally feeds on Ankylosaurs and Triceratops. With long legs, the T- Rex are
capable of hitting speeds of 40 mph or more to catch up with their prey, and
can chase for long distances, and teeth the size of Steak Knives. They were the
biggest predator in all North America.
