Animals on the Edge

Image result for endangered honey badgerAnimals have nowhere to hide. Every day, people use ivory from elephants, whale meat, and snow leopard skins. People are trying to protect out endangered species, but in the twentieth century, hundreds of animals went extinct like the thylacine, passenger pigeon, and the rainbow fish. People hide items that are illegal to keep like stuffed leopard skins, cobra meat, and elephant's ivory tusks. Those are in Africa and Asia, but now lets talk about North America. The red wolves are endangered here, but now the are off the endangered list and onto the vulnerable list. The honey badgers in this picture have raided a beekeeper's hives too often, and now have been caught in iron traps. People need to learn to live with these animals, or else the predators in the animal world will become the prey, and conflict can take place.
