The coal ash spill

Pollution is everywhere on planet earth, in the water, in the skies, and it dominates the land, making parts of the world not safe for both wildlife and humans, but here in NC, the COAL ASH SPILL is the biggest accident in the entire state. The coal ash spill happened on February 12 2014, and I was surprised that this major spill happened just 2 months ago. On February 28th, after the coal ash spill happened, I learned about it while working. Duke energy caused the coal ash spill because a boat with coal ash sunk spilling all of the coal ash into the water of the Dan river so if you live close to that river and like to go swimming in it, be careful not to swallow any water, because coal ash is still in that water, and it is deadly to all wildlife including macro invertebrates like mayflies who are pollution intolerant. By now, I think duke energy got sued because of all of that pollution and coal ash spilled into the Dan river. Fish like catfish, bass, and bream have died because of this accident, and all animals in the river are suffering, so if you ever see the Dan river, think about the coal ash spill and all of the animals that have either suffered or died in the accident.
