Nick Thrasher, aka Nick Powers, is out hunting for caribou, when he has bear trouble. It is not a polar bear, it is not a grizzly bear, it is a Grolar bear. His brother Ryan comes up from Arizona to Alaska because nick needs help finding caribou. After a quick breakfast, they start to head down the river. Less than two miles downriver, they are flipped over into freezing water. They lost everything, and now they must battle the elements to find the raft and get their stuff back. They finally found it after 13 days in the wilderness. They found their tent, nicks knife, Ryan's camera, and lots of other things. Then they found a stream of 180,000 caribou, and started heading back home. On the way back, they ran into the grolar bear, feeding on a human limb. By the coast, the grolar bear kills two full grown polar bears single handedly. He nearly kills Ryan, but Nick succeeds in killing the freak of nature. On their way home, Nick reads a paper that says how they killed the bear, and at the bottom, it says by Ryan Powers and Nick Thrasher.
